Hillsong

Henry wanted to know about hillsong and what is it about so I offered to do some research and here are the simplified findings.

Hillsong is basically a church in austrailia sydney.
Hillsong Church currently claims that it is attended by over 20,000 people each week.

It was started by brian and bobbie houstons, the church was in August 1983 with an initial congregation of 45.Within four years it had grown to 900 people and the church was force to move to a warehouse :)

They have many ministries and they hold small group meetings of people (up to 20) to pray or to learn stuff.

The church is well known for its music but there are many controrvesies regarding how they handle their funds and many ministers or well known figures attends the church.

There was even a person who wrote a song on how he won cancer but in the end it was a scam, he did not even got cancer....so they were required to remove his song lol....

Overall not bad lah....
